Sooo... A lot has changed in my life.

I broke up with my boyfriend of three years and moved to Manhattan.

I grew out my hair past my shoulders and cut it. (waah, I miss having long hair)

I miss you all very much. I wish I didn't have so much school work.

But I'll make time, so no worries.

Somehow neon lights began to spell out my name. My heart became in sync with the radio hits screaming though the dance floor. Language, reduced to slurred introductions. Reality slowed down and reversed itself. Disco Malaria.

If you're not, don't take it seriously. My boyfriend, who speaks Russian kept playing it over and over and over and over again and now its completely engraved into my brain to the point that it became my ring tone.

Yesterday was filled with dancing, music, singing, left over pizza, shiny outfits, forgotten fears, crossed paths, lost feet, and first times.

I broke out the shiniest shirt I own. Its not often that I get to break out (as one of my teachers called it) "Space Gear" and red lipstick.

Speaking of stress... &I would like to say sorry for being so slow with responding to all the lovely comments. I am having midterms right now, so my head is spinning. The good news is that I am going to be done with them in a week or so.

Someone, with a kind soul, got me super earrings from Etsy!

They are two matching blue owl earrings. The big plus is, that they match the ink I have behind my left ear. (Sorry, that you can't see the whole tattoo from these pictures)

Another wonderful thing: I finally have enough to make a pony tail! I've been rocking the short hair thing for too long, honestly.

I've been sending kisses across state lines. I've been filling them with promises of sunny days . But I'm not sure if they are landing.

He thinks I ripped the string off of my rusting tin can.

I just hope he realises that the truth is that my tin can has finally turned to dust, and my lips have been busy blowing kisses all the way to Chicago.

I went shopping with a friend yesterday, because she is going to be in The Rocky Horror Picture Show, we were looking for corsets, but I ended up buying this little navy jacket from Heritage 1981, which is a sister brand of F21.

i built a home in my heart

I just finished a little DIY with the helpful words of Julie. The original inspiration is from Damir Doma thick branded scarfs.

Tell me what you guys think. Honestly, it was a little hard to take a good picture of it, so in these photos you can't tell but there are actually 3 braids, one super thick one and two small ones on the opposite end. And the scarf itself is darker in real life.

Maybe this will catch on like a budding disease just like the Meadham Kirchhoff sweater DIY did.

Last night, after the sirens and the cops stepped through the front doors, I stumbled out into the street. My alcohol soaked breath meet with 2 am winter air, and turned into white smoke. I fell into the sea of loving arms, that were as happy to see me, as I was them.

All of the dancing, singing, candle blowing, drinking, texting, driving, talking was exactly what my misspelling heart needed.

It's raining, snowing, hailing. I've never seen something like this. And I read the weather reports, tomorrow is going to be the same routine.

I'm staying in, reading old journals. I'm pretending I am in California, and its August.

The first time we met.

It was beautiful, and I felt warm and safe in his heavy arms.

I wore my red boots with a 1960s mini dress today. In the morning people were looking at as if I was mad, because the rain hadn't come yet, it was gently snowing.

The bruises on my knees are almost gone. They used to serve as reminders of days where I spent my nights wondering around half dreaming half awake, bumping into chairs, trying to walk through walls. I'm going to miss those days.

I hope wherever you are, you are having a better day then I am.

it was pretty cold, but I set out to wear a baby pink dress, so I had to layer it with two white dresses underneath, and white leggings.

My 4 favs

I trust the word-of-mouth the most when I shop, especially when I shop for something that is beauty related.

These are my 4 favorite things (none clothes related, because that list has no end)

#4. Christina Aguilera Inspired Perfume Set

It includes perfume, lotion, bubble wash, and a little red makeup bag. I'm not a crazy fan of Christina, but I love how the bubble wash smells. It's kind of perfume-esque. And off course it bubbles, lol.

#3. Bed Head Dumb Blonde.

it's a reconstructer for chemically treated hair. My hair is as white as the background of this blog, and it's still attached to my head, thanks to Dumb Blonde. It makes my hair feel really soft and healthy, like it was before I dyed it. It also works for brunettes and redheads.

#2. Garnier Nutritioniste Skin Renew anti-puff eye roller

Ok, I have a confession to make. I've tried it everything in the world to get rid of the giant bags under my eyes and failed miserably. I tried the sleep mask, I tried the tea thing, I tried it all. But I recently I tried Skin Renew and as soon as it dried (about 30 seconds) my eyes were fixed. It is as if I've never had bags of dark circles before. I can't picture my life without this.

#1. Body Treats Luxury Bath Salts

Why is this number 1? Well first of all this is a company that is run by one of my wonderful flatmates Jenny and her boyfriend Alfredo. They make all of the stuff themselves: mix all the ingredients, design print out labels, etc. Plus a percentage of the profit that they make goes to charity. It feels good to know exactly who makes the product, and that it's not full of horrible toxic chemicals.

Besides not feeling guilty about using this product. It is actually very affordable, usually this kind of stuff costs you about 75- 50$, BodyTreats costs less then half of that (that's important because my shoe fund needs extra special attention). Also it has fixed my feet, which have been neglected over the winter, and it smells amazing!!

I finally got my new pea coat, which I've been waiting for about a week.

If the pictures don't give it away, it's about 87 degrees in my room right now, which is perfect pajama weather, but in no way coat weather. I almost died taking these.

Couture Moods DIY 101

Hey guys, I thought I'd share a quick and easy DIY aka Do It Yourself, stalking/legging ripping. I've been approached quite a bit with questions about how I do it so I decided to do a 5 second tutorial.

What you're going to need is:
1. a pair of tights/leggings (that are preferably are simple and single colored, I chose black. )
2. a razor. (You can't use scissors for this effect. )

Step 1: Put the tights on like you usually do.

Step 2: Begin to apply the razor to the tights as if you are shaving your legs.

Note: to get the round effect, press down hard in a small motion. To get the stripe effect, press lightly. Both of these motions work best upwards.

also you'd want to stop 2-3 inches from the bottom, so you don't end up having holes around the toe area.

And the final effect should look something like this:p.s. the first pic is not of me, but the rest are.
